Tabcorp, Harness Racing Victoria extend partnership

Tabcorp and Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) have today announced an extension to their longstanding partnership.

The agreement secures Tabcorp’s wagering arm, TAB, as HRV’s exclusive wagering partner until the end of the current Joint Venture.

The partnership extends to all 28 Victorian harness racing clubs conducting TAB meetings. TAB will feature prominently at tracks across the state and online with exclusive signage and digital rights.

In addition to this TAB partnership, Sky Racing continues to hold HRV broadcasting rights for all HRV races.

Tabcorp Managing Director Wagering and Media Adam Rytenskild said Tabcorp was a proud longstanding supporter of harness racing in Victoria.

“We’re delighted to renew our partnership with HRV. We are proud to put our name to some of harness racing’s most exciting events including the TAB Summer of Glory, TAB Breeders Crown and the TAB Redwood Rattler,” Mr Rytenskild said.

“We look forward to continuing to work closely with our partners at HRV.”

As part of new arrangements, HRV will now be able to showcase coverage of Victorian harness races at thetrots.com.au.

HRV CEO David Martin said today’s announcement reaffirmed the ongoing strong relationship between Tabcorp and the Victorian harness racing industry.

“Tabcorp and HRV have been long term partners and this multi-year agreement will generate significant benefits for a broad group of stakeholders,” Mr Martin said.

“In particular the launch of HRV’s new Trots Vision at thetrots.com.au, which will stream all HRV races, will be warmly welcomed by punters, participants and anyone who loves the trots.”
