Tabcorp has been rated the Casino and Gaming Sector’s global leader in the annual Dow Jones Sustainability Index.

Tabcorp improved its score by 9% to 73 (out of 100), and was the sector leader in 11 of the 24 categories, jumping above last year’s leader Star Entertainment.

The Dow Jones Sustainability Index tracks the performance of the world’s leading listed companies in terms of governance/economic, environmental and social criteria.

Twenty-nine companies were assessed in the Casino and Gaming Sector, with Tabcorp leading in the categories of Brand Management, Labour Practice Indicators, Climate Strategy, Codes of Business Conduct, Policy Influence, Supply Chain Management, Information Security/Cybersecurity & System Availability, Talent Attraction & Retention, Corporate Citizenship & Philanthropy, OHS, and Stakeholder Engagement.

Corporate Responsibility Manager Melissa Clarkson said the rating reflects our commitment to our values, doing the right thing and making a difference within our sector.

“We’re proud to be recognised for our efforts in this space and look forward to continuing to invest in our sustainability credentials for better outcomes for our employees, customers and partners.”
