The Lott continues its support of the Childhood Cancer Association
6 October 2021
Our Lotteries business proudly continues its support of the Childhood Cancer Association with a $50,000 donation today.
The Adelaide-based charity provides vital services such as counselling, accommodation and respite to sick kids and their families, with today’s contribution from The Lott by SA Lotteries funding more than 800 nights of accommodation for families in need.
“To be able to offer this free of charge takes away unnecessary financial pressures and gives families the space to have a comfortable home environment while they try and manage the incredible upheaval in their lives,” said CCA chief executive Cath O’Loughlin (pictured left, with The Lott’s Penny Quinn).
“We couldn’t be more thankful for this donation."
“We don’t receive any ongoing government funding and rely solely on the generous support of the local community and businesses like The Lott to help us continue to provide vital services and support.”
Today’s contribution continues our commitment to the association following $50,000 donations in 2019 and 2020.
“We’re committed to giving back to the communities in which we operate, and helping families with their incredibly tough battle with cancer is something we’re very passionate about,” The Lott General Manager Andrew Shepherd said.
“We’re proud to continue supporting the team on its incredible mission.”
