Women of Tabcorp take home WiT Awards

Women of Tabcorp take home WiT Awards

10 September 2019

One of Australia’s most respected technology industry associations, Women in Technology (WiT), recognised two of our Technology leadership team at their awards gala on Friday 30th August.

Chief Information Officer Mandy Ross won the ICT Outstanding Achievement Award, while GM Capability, Change and Performance Angela Jones won ICT Professional Award.

Mandy and Angela were joined by Monica Appleby, Charleen Human and Alison Fowke who were also nominated for WiT awards, and other supporters from the Tabcorp technology team.

Mandy said the awards reflected the great dynamic within the Technology team and the valuable contributions of its female team members.

"The WiT Awards evening was a fantastic event and I was absolutely thrilled that Tabcorp walked away with two awards," she said.

"While Ange and I were definitely humbled by the recognition on the night, these awards reflect the work of our dedicated Tech team and demonstrate what can be achieved when we do it as one team.

"Special mention to our other three nominees Monica Appleby, Charlene Human and Alison Fowke who have made a significant contribution to our team and also to all our Tabcorp Technology attendees on the night who did us proud on the dancefloor!"

WiT is dedicated to supporting and promoting the achievements of women in the technology industry and we’re delighted that the work of our Technology team has been recognised.
